Sustainability Manager (m/f/d)
We are currently seeking a Sustainability Manager (m/f/d) to join the STOCKMEIER Group at the earliest opportunity. The role can be based at any of our European locations.

Your Responsibilities

Further development and implementation of the sustainability strategy in close collaboration with internal departments, including the management of relevant projects and workshops
Calculation and analysis of greenhouse gas emissions (Corporate Carbon Footprint & Product Carbon Footprint)
Steer sustainability ratings such as EcoVadis and support for local evaluations within the Group
Coordination and preparation of sustainability reports, KPI collection, and documentation (including CSRD) at both local and corporate levels
Communication and promotion of sustainability achievements in accordance with group communication standards
Monitoring legal developments (e.g., LKSG, CSDDD, EU regulations) and ensuring compliance through suitable measures and projects
Support for sales and procurement teams on sustainability topics – including customer meetings, supplier assessments, and standardized inquiries
Training and enabling of employees, and support for European sustainability ambassadors in implementing their action plans
Active monitoring of trends and developments in the field of sustainability to continuously improve the corporate strategy

University degree (Bachelor/Master) in a relevant field or certified sustainability manager, or equivalent qualification
Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience, ideally with initial exposure to corporate sustainability topics
Proficient English skills (minimum B2 level), both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus but not mandatory
Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present complex sustainability concepts in a clear and compelling way
Problem-solving and influencing capabilities, with a mindset that balances compliance and business-oriented thinking
High level of motivation and initiative
